Who is listening to you?

Many of you may already know this information...but just to confirm, I received this email from a friend to our ministry who has worked in the telecom industry for many years. This was his response to my email about how we can now buy a device to listen in to anyone's cell conversation.

Nortel, who my wife and I both worked for, developed a monitoring system that is used by the NSA which constantly monitors all telephone conversations taking place in the US for "key words or phrases", basically anything that they would consider a threat. Once one of those words or phrases is spoken, the call is automatically recorded and later analyzed by employees of the NSA. This all happens without any knowledge of the parties on the call and applies to both landline and cell phone calls. This technology has been in place for over a decade now.
